HDVR from American Dynamics protects your analog camera investment while you consider either transitioning to IP cameras, or enjoy the benefits of a mixed environment. The HDVR provides seamless integration and recording of both analog and IP video surveillance cameras on an enterprise class chassis. Megapixel IP cameras can be optionally viewed in a borderless wide panel view.
The powerful, yet easy to operate client user interface installs on any standard computer running Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7, and can connect to multiple servers. Each HDVR client can support up to 4 monitor displays to support cameras or maps in a variety of user specified configurations. Video from all HDVR systems can also be accessed with web browsers and mobile devices with access to the Internet.
HDVR now supports remote monitoring of HDVR servers, through a mobile App for all iOS devices. These are currently available for download from the iTunes App store. HDVR Go mobile enables you to view live and recorded video while "on the go", ensuring real time accessibility to your global deployments. This allows for easier monitoring of your video deployments, in addition to being able to react more quickly to real time events.
The optional Enterprise software license enabled at the server level, adds unique user administration functionality that is useful in an enterprise deployment. Supported features include: Active Directory Integration, Multi-Level Mapping, and Enterprise User Administration.
Each HDVR server supports 16 or 32 analog inputs and 8 IP inputs, which can be easily expanded to support additional camera licenses (within the unit's video data bandwidth limitations). The unique hardware platform supports H.264 and MJPEG compression technology on all analog channels; H.264, MJPEG, and MPEG-4 on IP channels. A RAID 5 model provides redundant storage capabilities.
Searches are faster and easier on recorded video by maintaining the downloaded video in the cached memory without having to download repetitive video clips.
The video wall enables you to change video wall views based on external triggers, alarms and serial data events. In addition, user defined events can be implemented on the map feature allowing you to add and view access control operations, video analytic alarms, and other events.
HDVR features a removable BNC panel, making it extremely easy to perform maintenance on the server without disrupting service; you simply replace the front of the unit while keeping all the BNCs intact.
