The 2GIG-SMKT100-345 is a multi-function security sensor designed to provide comprehensive life safety protection by detecting smoke, heat, and freeze conditions. Featuring a sophisticated photoelectric optical sensor, this detector meets the stringent UL217 8th edition and UL268 7th edition standard for improved smoke detection. It utilizes advanced algorithms to recognize smoke from common synthetic materials, while also helping to decrease nuisance alarms from everyday cooking for enhanced accuracy.
For ultimate installation flexibility, this wireless heat detector is part of the 345S line, featuring an internal switch for either encrypted or non-encrypted operation, ensuring compatibility with 2GIG EDGE, GC Touch, and earlier 2GIG panels. The sensor provides multiple temperature alerts, including a high temperature level of 134°F, a low temperature freeze alert at 40°F, and a rate-of-rise heat detector function. A projected 10-year battery life means fewer service calls and increased reliability for both residential and commercial properties.
