The Audio-Technica ATW-T1402 is a digital wireless handheld microphone/transmitter compatible with a System 20 PRO receiver. The compact transmitter delivers high-quality sound at 24 Bit / 48 kHz resolution and features a lightweight, ergonomic housing that is comfortable for presenters and performers to hold. The unit features a dynamic mic capsule with a hypercardioid polar pattern that focuses audio capture narrowly in front of the mic for less bleed from other instruments and feedback from stage monitors. The power button toggles between mute and unmute statuses with a quick press and can be locked to prevent accidents. The System 20 PRO operates anywhere in the world in the 2.4 GHz spectrum, well away from potential TV and radio interference. The transmitter's RF output is fixed at 10mW and the unit offers a maximum transmission range of 200'. Three levels of diversity assurance-frequency, time, and space-ensure reliable audio transmission. The ATW-T1402 provides up to 18 hours of use with two alkaline AA batteries and up to 35 hours with lithium batteries. The system can be expanded with additional transmitters and receivers to accommodate up to 20 mic channels simultaneously.
