The Cypress Suprex SPX-7410 is a Fiber Reader Extender that connects a reader and its door or gate hardware up to 24 miles from any Wiegand access control panel over single mode fiber optic cable. It also supervises the connection, and can support up to 8 readers when used with Cypress EXP-2000 Expansion Pairs. Includes both remote and central units. Recommended for sites with available single mode fiber optic cable, industrial sites, or sites prone to corrosion, lightning strikes, or saltwater intrusion.
