What is QuickStart to mobile?
HID's QuickStart to Mobile streamlines onboarding to mobile credentials. The Trade-Up Program now offers a QuickStart to Mobile option.
When requesting a Trade-Up, ask your ADI salesperson to add "Quick Start" to the request.
Do I have to return old readers?
Physical return of the legacy readers to HID is not required.
What if I want to return legacy readers?
Customers may return HID legacy readers as part of the Trade-Up Program, if they do not wish to destroy themselves. Competitors' readers should not be returned.
If returning HID readers:
- Clearly write "TRADE-UP" on the outside of the return box and ship to 611 Center Ridge Drive, Austin, TX 78753.
- Ensure the marking is visible on the package so it can be properly identified upon receipt.
- Returned HID readers will be destroyed upon retrieval by HID and will not be returned.
What readers are eligible to trade in?
Prox readers, legacy iCLASS readers, or non-HID branded competitors' readers are eligible for this trade-up program.
Are there any readers that are not eligible for this trade-up program?
Signo readers, iCLASS SE readers, or other modern iCLASS readers are not eligible.
What qualifies as a competitors' reader?
Any non-HID branded reader being replaced.
Is there a minimum quantity to participate?
There is no minimum quantity, but trade-in benefits apply per qualifying pair (Trade 2 → Get 1 Free + 1 at 20% off). There is a maximum of 100 total Signo readers received per customer.
How long does approval take?
Partners should expect a response within 48 hours of submission via the HID Partner Portal.
