Each Pet lens features a modified lower detection curtain that ignores small animals while maintaining full human intrusion detection. Choose the wide-angle 90 ft. x 50 ft. Lens A-Pet for broad area protection, the medium-angle 100 ft. x 35 ft. Lens B-Pet for balanced coverage, or the narrow-angle 125 ft. x 20 ft. Lens C-Pet for corridor-style detection — and swap lenses in the field without replacing the sensor. Powered by Protech's proprietary Stereo Doppler X-Band microwave (10.525 GHz) combined with passive infrared in a mandatory AND-gate configuration, the XL2-ABCP delivers false-alarm-free, pet-immune detection while filtering out birds, swinging signs, and vegetation. Operating from 10–28 VDC with a wide temperature range of -40°F to +158°F (-40°C to +70°C), this versatile sensor includes the outdoor housing with shroud, swivel mount, PH-6L bracket, 10-position range and sensitivity control, LED on/off switch, and bird/animal immunity switch.
