The 6808U is the latest intelligent addressable FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel) from Silent Knight and is a direct replacement for the 6808/5808 FACP. The 6808U has one SLC (signaling line circuit) loop for connecting addressable detectors, which can support 159 System Sensor SK sensors and 159 SK modules or 127 Hochiki SD devices per loop. A common communications and annunciation link allows up to 17 panels to be connected via copper wire or fiber optic cable. A designated panel is configured as the communicator for all panels in the link for convenient single-point communications.
