The Cypress OPTW-100 is a Wiegand Splitter that connects 2 readers using the same Wiegand port, or connects 1 reader to 2 panels. Powered with 5 or 12 Vdc, the reader’s power is used; no separate power supply is required.
Recommended for vehicle gates with high/low readers, sites where 2 tenants share an entry door, or to optically isolate a Wiegand reader from a Wiegand panel to address incompatible data voltage levels or ground potential issues.
