The ADI All-in-One Protection Plan, powered by Guardsman, enables you to sell a single plan that covers the mechanical or electrical breakdown of all main components within a project. *The ADI All-in-One Protection Plan, powered by Guardsman, covers the mechanical and electrical components central to your project. This includes components such as TVs and displays, audio equipment, cameras, control panels, networking switches and routers, sensors and smart home components. The plan does not cover wire and cable or power components such as batteries and PoE switches.

Coverage for a defined failure does not become effective until the manufacturer's warranty has expired. Upon expiration of the manufacturer's warranty, coverage for a defined failure becomes effective and continues for the remainder of the term purchased. Failures due to power surge are covered from day one.

To effectively sell an ADI All-In-One Protection Plan to your customers, we recommend including it as a standard line item within a project or singular product purchase for your customers to either accept or decline. Here are some of the key benefits to highlight:
Before giving your customer a protection plan quote, please view the pricing matrix to see the price of the appropriate plan, which is based on the purchase price of the project pre-tax (all components, wiring and installation costs).

ADI All-in-One Protection Plans are designed to supplement the covered product's manufacturer's warranty - providing additional benefits and extended coverage durations.
The ADI All-in-One Protection Plan offers industry leading coverage, terms and conditions and pricing. It provides a singles plan which covers all main components within a project.
This is a Date of Purchase Plan, so coverage will begin upon delivery and installation of your project. The ADI Protection Plan will immediately cover any issues a manufacturer's warranty won't cover, as well as extend the coverage of your project past the expiration of a manufacturer's warranty.
All brands and models sold by ADI that are mechanical and/or electrical in nature and have a manufacturer warranty of at least 90 days are eligible for the protection plan. See our full list of eligible components for details.
Accidents, intentional damage, loss and theft are examples of exclusions. Please refer to the terms and conditions under “what is not covered” in the portal for a complete list.
The coverage is identical, but there are separate rates for residential and commercial products.

Integrators will receive approximately 20% margin on the protection plan retail price.
After selling the plan to the customer, the integrator is responsible for registering the product and paying for the protection plan on the Guardsman/ADI registration portal.
Residential and commercial plans are available for three- or five-year terms, based on the price of the project.
After the plan is registered, no upgrades or changes to the term are allowed.
Guardsman will send the customer an email with a link advising them how to view the plan and file a claim.

The integrator does not need to provide any documentation to the customer. Point of sale of marketing brochures with coverage highlights and plan information are also available to share with the customer during the sales process.
All plans are available in three- or five-year terms.

Once a claim is submitted, Guardsman's response would be immediate. Then, Guardsman will schedule a tech visit with the customer as soon as the customer has availability. The goal is to complete the repair/replacement within seven business days. Potential reasons for delays could include parts on back order, customer availability and location.
The integrator or customer can contact Guardsman at 800.253.3957 with any questions or concerns regarding the protection plan or claims process.
If a product is discontinued and no longer available, the ADI Protection Plan will replace with a product valued at an equal price point.
The protection plan will cover all mechanical and electrical breakdowns, including screens, remotes, speakers, parts, labor, power surges, etc., with the offered plan. If your product is not working correctly, it is covered in a claim. Guardsman does not cover accidental damage.
After the customer files a claim, Guardsman will utilize the selling integrator for any service needed to make repairs. The integrator will be paid a set rate depending on the service needed. If the integrator is not available or does not want to service the claim, Guardsman will dispatch a servicer from our own network.

The protection plan is non-transferable.
The plan is not renewable.
The protection plan can be cancelled at any time by the integrator by going to the Guardsman/ADI portal, selecting the customer and selecting the cancel/refund button. The plan refund will be prorated based on the amount of time the plan was used.
