This access control composite cable works for both Wiegand and OSDP Access Control Systems. The card reader element is designed to support up to 6 conductors for a Wiegand reader. Or if you're using OSDP, you have (2) low-capacitance pairs for Power and Data, and an extra 18 AWG pair intended for long distance power. The contact element has 4 conductors (2 for the contacts and 2 as spares). The REX/Motion element has 4 conductors (2 for the REX and 2 as spares). The Lock Power element has a pair of 16 AWG conductors to enable longer distance runs for power. All of this is under a single jacket, giving you a single cable to handle a wide variety of Access Control needs.
