Product Overview
The VIP-422A-IC is an InformaCast Compliant Lay-In Talkback IP Ceiling Speaker enable voice access to a single zone of paging over an IP-based network. This allows a page zone extension anywhere on the network. The speaker output level is controlled by the InformaCast server. The lay-in ceiling speaker grille is made of steel with a white baked enamel finish. The VIP-422A-IC replaces a 2’x2’ ceiling tile. Power is provided to the unit via a Power over an Ethernet (PoE) switch meeting the 802.3af specification.
