The AC-EX40-444-PLUS-KIT by AVPro Edge is a 4K60 4:4:4 HDBaseT extender designed for high-bandwidth HDMI signal extension over single CAT (6a recommended) UTP/STP cables. It supports HDR formats such as HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision, maintaining deep color and HDR metadata intact with ICT (Invisible Compression Technology) for virtually lossless transmission up to 18Gbps. This extender includes features like 4K to 1080p downscaling, audio return channel via HDMI or Toslink, USB 2.0 extension up to 250 Mbps, bi-directional RS232, IR transport protection, and cascading capability up to seven hops. It is CE certified, RoHS compliant, and equipped with comprehensive EDID management, test patterns, and robust ESD protection to ensure reliable communication and troubleshooting in complex AV installations.
