The AC-AXION-4 is a high bandwidth audio/video matrix switcher designed for complex AV installations. It supports downmixing of bitstream audio beyond 7.1 channels, including Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, into a 2-channel audio signal across four inputs while maintaining full Dolby Atmos and DTS HD audio through mirrored HDMI/HDBaseT ports. The matrix supports the full HDMI 2.0 a/b specification and all HDR formats including HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, BBC, and NHK in up to 4K 60Hz and 12-bit deep color. Featuring advanced capabilities such as extreme EDID management, built-in 4K to 1080p downscaling, and dual audio de-embedding with volume control, it offers comprehensive control via the Axion Interface and front panel screen for easy setup and management in multi-zone environments.
