The Sentinel CATEGORY 6A AND 6 RJ45 PLUG is a shielded connector designed for enhanced networking performance. It features an integral "CRIMP" that increases shield effectiveness, adds cable stress relief, and enhances overall strength. The plug utilizes a 4 over 4 contact design with 4 LONG and 4 SHORT contacts to provide increased isolation and spatial dispersion, minimizing crosstalk. It accepts insulated conductors with an outer diameter of .048" to .0525" and supports both solid and stranded conductors. Conductors are isolated using a Conductor Load Bar and Plastic Isolation/Insulation Barriers at the point of contact termination, which improves electrical performance.
