The 2GIG Wireless Hardwire Takeover Module (2GIG-TAKE100-345) provides installers with a simple and effective method for converting existing 12V prewired security systems to 2GIG wireless technology. Each module converts up to eight hardwired loops into 2GIG 345MHz wireless zones, streamlining the upgrade process. For larger installations requiring more than eight zones, additional modules may be added to expand system capabilities.
Designed for maximum flexibility, this takeover module can be powered by the existing alarm panel's supply and also use its backup battery, featuring an onboard charging circuit with a status LED. An auxiliary output provides up to 500 mA to power wired motion or glass break sensors directly. An internal on-board switch allows installers to easily select between standard non-encrypted operation or encrypted mode for enhanced security with compatible panels like the 2GIG EDGE.
