The Pass & Seymour by Legrand 8200-HGRY is a compact electrical receptacle designed for 15A, 125V applications. It features an impact-resistant nylon face and one-piece heat-treated triple-wipe brass power contacts for durability and reliable conductivity. The device includes an easily accessible break-off line contact tab for split circuit wiring and a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel strap that is securely locked in place. Installation is simplified by the compact design, tri-drive terminal and mounting screws, and internal screw-pressure-plate back and side wire line terminals compatible with 14 and 10AWG copper or copper-clad conductors. An auto-ground clip ensures a positive ground connection, and the thermoplastic back body provides high strength. The receptacle maintains a maximum 30°C temperature rise under heavy load conditions, ensuring stability and safety.
