These spade drill bits have a flat head with two cutting spurs and produce clean holes at high drilling speeds. They are also called paddle bits. These bits feature a quick-change hex shank and can be inserted and removed from the drill chuck without the use of tools, allowing the bits to be changed out faster and more efficiently than bits with a standard hex shank.
