Hard Steel Flat Washers are used to increase the surface area of fasteners in order to more evenly distribute the force applied when fasteners are tightened to a surface. They are intended to be used in conjunction with Grade 5 and Grade 8 bolts and nuts. Common applications for hard steel washers include industrial, MRO, manufacturing and oil & gas.
