The Leviton EV480 is a 48 AMP EVSE designed for fast and secure charging of any SAE J1772 compatible electric vehicle. It features optional access control with an RFID system that is disabled by default and can be activated simply by tapping an RFID card. The cable design is engineered to prevent freezing and cracking even in extreme weather conditions. The unit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, housed in a thermoplastic, water-resistant enclosure rated NEMA Type 3R. Installation is straightforward with a pre-attached input cable and included mounting hardware, and the charger is Energy Star Certified for efficiency.
