The Leviton T5836-E is a 20A TR receptacle with advanced USB Type-C charging designed for in-wall installation, providing versatile and powerful device charging. It supports up to 60W charge on a single PD-enabled USB port or 30W per port when both are in use, compatible with USB 3.1, 3.0, and earlier standards. The smart chip optimizes charging for individual devices, including popular phones and tablets, while the unit includes overcurrent protection and an internal thermoregulator for safety. Tamper-resistant outlets enhance safety by blocking access to non-rated objects, making it suitable for family environments.

Main Features

The most advanced USB in-wall charger on the market with up to 2X the charging power with PD-enabled devices. Also compatible with non-PD devices as well as Type A devices (adapter required)
Up to 60W charge on a single port when connected to a PD-enabled device, up to 30W charge per port (60W total) when both USB ports are in use
Maximum charging outputs: 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3A with a maximum power output of 60W
USB Type-C provides faster charging and is emerging as the standard port on many phones and tablets, such as iPhones, iPads, Samsung Galaxy, Samsung Tabs, Google Pixel and More
Compatible with USB 3.1, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1 devices
