The Net Chaser™ Ethernet Speed Certifier & Network Tester is designed to test and speed-certify Ethernet cables up to 1 Gb/s, ensuring they meet IEEE 802.3 standards and support the necessary speeds for active network equipment. It offers advanced features for both network and cable testing, including port discovery, PoE detection, IPV4 support, DHCP verification, and network mapping. The device can also perform a Bit Error Rate Test (BERT), Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) test, and cable length measurements, with graphical displays to identify improper terminations and other faults. The kit includes the Net Chaser Main Unit, Active Remote, two power supplies, a 4GB SD card, micro USB cable, 12 FTP patch cables, two RJ45 port savers, two RJ45 to 8-way alligator clip cables, two F-jack to BNC adapters, hanging strap and clip, a hanging pouch, and a protective hard case.
