The 2GIG CO8E-345 Encrypted Wireless Carbon Monoxide Detector offers advanced life safety protection with secure, reliable performance. As part of the eSeries line, this detector uses encrypted wireless communication to prevent spoofing and hacking, ensuring signals sent to compatible 2GIG panels are authentic and secure. It operates on the 345 MHz frequency, providing robust wireless connectivity.Designed for longevity and minimal maintenance, the CO8E-345 features a proven electrochemical sensor with a ten-year life and is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries that also provide approximately ten years of service. The detector includes automated end-of-life alerts to notify users when replacement is due.In the event of dangerous CO levels, an integrated 85 dB Temporal 4 sounder delivers a clear, loud alarm for immediate awareness. The tamper-resistant housing protects against unauthorized interference, and the unit provides full monitoring for alarm, low-battery, tamper, and supervisory conditions directly to the panel. With a wireless range of up to 350 ft (open air), this surface-mount detector offers flexible installation. It is ETL listed to UL 2075 and CAN ULC-S588:2017 (and often meets CSFM requirements), ensuring it meets stringent safety standards for professional-grade life-safety protection.
