Explore AV Receivers from ADI
An audio visual receiver, or AV receiver, acts as a hub for your customer's home entertainment system. It connects multiple audio and video sources to your customer's speakers and TV, providing signal processing, built-in amplification and power for seamless integration and user-friendly control.
ADI offers a selection of AV receivers from top brands, including Denon, Yamaha and more. Explore audio visual receivers to create high-quality, easy-to-use home entertainment systems that your customers can rely on.
Audio Receivers for Pro AV Applications
Audio visual receivers are ideal for residential AV applications including home theater, gaming and immersive audio. AV receivers process signal from various sources such as Blu-ray players, CD players, gaming or streaming devices and cable boxes, allowing your customer to connect, control and switch seamlessly between these sources. Pro audio receivers then distribute signal to your customer's speakers and TV, providing amplification and enabling crisp surround sound or 3D audio, as well as ensuring high-quality video output. AV receivers also distribute power to speakers. Most receivers are designed to support five or seven speakers (for high-quality surround sound), although some can drive over ten speakers (for multiple rooms or 3D sound).
While it is possible to use AV receivers for small commercial installations, the compact and streamlined nature of these devices — perfect for most residential installs — does not lend itself to larger commercial spaces or futureproofing a growing business's AV system. For most commercial AV applications, we recommend pro AV processors, which offer additional features and scalability. Because pro AV processors do not include built-in amplification and power for a set number of devices, they can connect a larger number of pro speakers and a wider range of devices, such as pro receivers, audio receivers, amplifiers, pro audio mixers, pro microphones and other AV equipment.
ADI has everything you need to complete your next AV install. Don't forget to shop everyday essentials such as accessories and mounts.
Find the Best AV Receiver for Your Needs
ADI offers a range of high-quality pro receivers from top brands, including Denon, Yamaha and more. When selecting the best AV receiver for your customer, it is important to consider the following questions:
- Does the AV receiver provide enough power for the selected speakers and room size?
- Does the AV receiver include the right number of channels to accommodate the speaker setup?
- Does the AV receiver include the types of inputs (such as HDMI, USB, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) needed to connect all of your customer's devices?
- Does the AV receiver support the customer's desired audio and video formats, such as Dolby Atmos or IMAX Enhanced?
