The CB9 is a stand alone panel version of the Carbonite Black Solo - which is a powerful single ME with 4 full featured keyers, a transition keyer for DVE and Media wipes and an Ultrachrome chroma keyer. The CB9 panel is identical to the all-in-one version of the Carbonite Black Solo, but offers a separate control surface for use with the 1RU rack frame or indeed any other Carbonite as an inexpensive satellite control panel. The separate electronic frame is designed for installations where it is desirable to separate operation from electronics.

Carbonite Black Solo and CB9 are both intended for smaller productions where quality and operational performance is still essential, but in a package that is affordable.
