Essex PEB Series Piezoelectric Switches are industrial grade illuminated, stainless steel, timed electronic switches designed to operate in various high use, harsh and vandal prone environments. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor commercial applications, the PEB Series features a unique selectable, bi-colored illumination status. Brilliant red, vibrant green or no illumination can be selected to show Relay ON or Relay OFF status. Illumination can also be controlled externally. The PEB Series can be used to control an automatic door, electric lock/strike or magnetic lock. It can also be tied into the remote bypass (REX – request to exit) input of an access control system or used to shunt an alarm system to allow egress from a secured area.
