The DS-K3B601-x series swing barrier with 12 pairs of IR lights is designed to detect unauthorized entrances and exits. In coordination with the access control system, a person can authenticate and pass through the lane by swiping their ID card or showing their face (integrated with the DS-K5603-Z). The swing barrier is widely used at stadiums, construction sites, residences, etc.
The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibits the sale of Hikvision products for use in critical infrastructure or government installations.
