Designed for fast ethernet, gigabit ethernet and fiber channel applications. Supports 10 gigabit ethernet networks (10GBASE-SR) for a short distance (up to 33m). OM1 is most commonly used for 100 megabit ethernet connections (100BASE-X) up to 2,000m. Includes flammability rating OFNR (riser) jacket with heat shrink to prevent the zipcord from separating from the connector.
