The National Electrical Code requires all 15A and 20A, 125V receptacles that are automatically controlled to be marked with a specific symbol and the word “CONTROLLED” on the receptacl.
Main Features
- Conventionally wired and Lev-Lok modular wiring system platforms available
- Control either one outlet or both outlets
- For conventionally wired devices with one marked "controlled" receptacle, "hot" tab is split
- For Lev-Lok devices with one marked "controlled" receptacle, an additional "hot" contact is split internally, and a seperate lead is provided for the controlled receptacle
