QuickNet fiber breakout/furcation kits are used to provide a robust transition from higher count 250µm loose tube or ribbon cables into individual 12-fiber tubes for field termination or splicing. The 1-meter breakout length works perfectly with HD Flex enclosures and splice cassettes, providing sufficient cable length to ensure the drawers open completely without putting stress on the incoming cable or transition point. The furcation tubes are flat and can accommodate flat ribbon fiber, collapseable ribbons, or discrete 250µm fibers from a higher count loose tube cable design. The kits include a clear plastic transition tube, a suitable number of flat furcation tubes and a piece of adhesive heat shrink to ensure a strong and reliable transition from bulk cable to 12-fiber breakout tubes.
