The SAFEPATH Remote Microphone (SPRM) is designed for use with the SP40S. It is a supervised, hand held push- to-talk microphone that is key enabled and can be mounted in remote location, up to 2,000 feet away from the SP40S. Remote microphone usage disengages background music and general paging. The SPRM priority level is 2, and the SP40S on board microphone is priority 1.
