  • Ideal for Point-Of-Entry Or Main Service Entrance Installations, the M series offers greater protection in a wide variety of voltage configurations
  • Code Compliant - in 2020, Article 23.67 of the National Electrical Code (NEC) updates required all services supplying dwelling units to be provided with a surge protective device (SPD), as an integral part of equipment or located immediately adjacen. The SPD must be a Type 1 or Type 2 SPD. The 2023 code expanded the requirements to dormitory units, guest rooms and guest suites of hotels and motels, and areas of nursing homes and limited-care facilities used exclusively as patient sleeping rooms
  • The maximum amount of current the device is capable of diverting to ground during a single surge event without performance degradation of more than 10%
  • Higher values are better
  • The amount of current the device can divert to ground 15 times under specific test conditions and maintain performance levels
  • The maximum voltage a surge protector will let through to connected devices
  • Lower values are better
