The Protech by Hirsch SDI‑76XL‑DIR‑LT is the Ladder & Tower (LT) variant of the PIRAMID DIR family, engineered for detecting intruders climbing vertical structures. Using AND‑gated Stereo Doppler microwave and passive infrared detection, the LT version is factory‑configured for Approach‑Only direction control to target upward climbing motion while ignoring downward‑moving rain, snow, and environmental motion. The sensor is equipped with its LT look‑down bracket, and installers may select optional PH‑6 or PH‑6JB brackets for mounting on caged or non‑caged ladders.
